Running DirectX 10 games in DirectX 9 mode in Vista

So, this is a tutorial on how to play PC game that uses DirectX 10 in DirectX 9 mode in Vista to get a playable framerate and screen resolution.

In my case i want to play Crysis SP Demo in Vista but even an 800x600 on medium settings the framerate is about 2fps. This is Because of DirectX 10.

To Run the game in DirectX 9 mode is simple but many people don't know how to do it so here it is:

First, You'll need to goto Start then Games (as shown).

and to run the Game that you want to play in DirectX 9 mode you right click on the game and click on "Play DX9".

And there you have it this little click allowed me to play crysis at 1680x1050 on medium and on high at 1360x768.
